ABOUT DEAN MOUNTFORD

Dean Mountford is an accomplished filmmaker with hundreds of film and television credits. He is the founder and president of Beachcomber Entertainment, a USA-based film production company.

Dean’s motion picture credits include roles on crew for clients such as Universal, Village Roadshow Pictures, The Samuel Goldwyn Company, Tribune Entertainment, Coote Hayes Productions, St. Clare Entertainment, Crusader Entertainment, Alliance Atlantis, Telescene, The Over the Hill Gang, Constellation Entertainment, Marker Entertainment, 900 Frames, Answers in Genesis and many others.

In recent years, Dean has served as 2nd assistant director and 2nd 2nd assistant director on films and television shows including “Swimming Upstream,” starring Geoffrey Rush, Judy Davis and Jesse Spencer, “Hildegarde,” starring Richard E. Grant, “Beastmaster,” starring Daniel Goddard, “The Lost World,” starring Peter McCauley, Rachel Blakely, Jennifer O'Dell, William Snow, David Orth and Michael Sinelnikoff, “Silent Predators,” starring Harry Hamlin, Shanon Sturgess, Beau Billingslea and Jack Scalia and finally “Flipper,” starring Jessica Alba, Whip Hubley and Gus Mercurio.

Most recently, Mr. Mountford co-produced and served as camera operator on the 2014 documentary “Six Hours,” filmed in the devastating wake of Super Typhoon Yolanda which hit the Philippines. In addition, he has written and directed several short films including “2 Six Tango,” “Ma Lalo O Kaili,” “'Ōlulo Nona,” “Niu,” and “The Encounter,” which garnered the praise of well known Hollywood professionals. He is currently developing the pro-life feature film “Heartbeats,” and working as line producer on the upcoming feature film "Don't Say My Name"

The last few years Mr. Mountford has been volunteering at the International Christian Film and Music Festival, held in Orlando in May each year, and in 2018 was invited to join staff, a role which he immensely enjoys.

​Mr. Mountford is an alumni of New York Film Academy and has served as film staff at University of the Nations in Hawai'i. Mr. Mountford is also recognized as an accomplished broadcast professional, including as Senior Studio Director at Prime 7 News-Australia and KTKB Marianas Media-Guam and has after moving rapidly up the ranks at KLASTV & KTNV in Las Vegas.  Mr. Mountford has been recognized for his work on the Emmy Award winning KLASTV Eyewitness News.

He is a producer and director who not only has a passion for storytelling, he also understands how to relate with audiences and actors and communicate effectively with them.
